HEIL TRAILER ANNOUNCES ORGANIZATIONAL APPOINTMENTS

Cleveland, Tenn. – (January 20, 2016) – Heil Trailer has announced several appointments within the company’s organization.

General Manager, Rhome and Mexico Operations
Manufacturing Plant Manager, Juarez Plant

Luis Ortiz has been appointed the General Manager at Heil Trailer’s Rhome and Mexico Operations. In this expanded role, Ortiz is continuing to lead manufacturing functions at Rhome as well as take on overall responsibility for Juarez operational activities. Ortiz has been very successful at a number of AIP-portfolio manufacturing assignments and brings in-depth experience in manufacturing operations and lean implementation. Jim Gaston, formerly the Quality Manager for Rhome, is now the Rhome Operations Manager.

Kimo Oberloh has been contracted as the Manufacturing Project Manager to assist Juarez with on-floor manufacturing activities and support day-to-day Juarez value stream activities. Bringing a strong background in lean principles and manufacturing in the U.S. and international settings, Oberloh is working with value stream leaders at Juarez to ensure customer needs and manufacturing goals are achieved.

In addition, I extend our appreciation to Luis Ortiz, Ricardo Ibaven, and Jim Gaston for moving into additional leadership roles, and to Ricardo Iglesias for serving so ably as Interim Plant Manager for Heil Trailer Mexico during Q3 and part of Q4 2015.”

Operations Executive
Heil Trailer has also appointed Todd Finney as Operations Executive. Finney will work on targeted operations projects and strategies. Prior to joining Heil Trailer, Finney served as President/COO of Vantage Trailer, a manufacturer of aluminum tank trailers in the Houston, Texas, area. He brings with him extensive experience in finance and new business development from management roles in the equipment leasing and mobile storage industries.

Director of Government Sales and Business Development
Kevin Tumlin has been appointed as the Director of Government Sales & Business Development. Previously, Tumlin held the position of Defense Product Manager at the company.

Tumlin has worked in the government sales and development arena at Heil Trailer and brings an extensive engineering acumen and understanding of the company’s products and processes. Additionally, he will apply his understanding of customer needs and work with operations to ensure the right products and specifications are available to meet those needs. Tumlin is a graduate of Georgia Tech.

“Kevin will be a great asset to Heil Trailer in his new role at the company,” stated Swift. “This position will allow him to use his unique talents and knowledge in helping our company better serve our customers.”

Vice President of National Accounts
Zack Coley has been named the Vice President of National Accounts for Heil Trailer International. Coley will be responsible for industry events, dealer relations, business development, customer service, aftermarket services and warranty.

“Zack has over 30 years of industry experience, and his support and advice will be critically important to our future success,” Swift said. “He will play a key role in strengthening our dealer relationships as we listen, learn and apply their feedback to enhancing our products and services.”
